ICGA Directors

Craig Buhrow, District IV

Craig Buhrow serves as the District IV Director for the Illinois Corn Growers Association representing growers in Whiteside, Lee, Bureau, Stark, Marshall, and Putnam Counties.  He grows corn and soybeans with his wife Margie in West Brooklyn, IL.

Craig originally saw himself potentially being a banker, but 40 years later, he is still farming and loving it.  He says that farming is perfect for him because he loves making his own decisions and having a variety of jobs to do.  And since both sides of the family farmed since their arrival in America, it seems that a love of the land is simply in his genes.

He also enjoys being involved in his community.  Craig is Vice Chair of the County Zoning Board, a member of the local Lutheran Church and has a weekly radio report on WSDR Sterling.  He has also served as Farm Bureau President and within the Extension Council.
