Glenn Ginder, District I

Glenn Ginder grows corn, soybeans, wheat and hay in Peotone, IL with his wife, Bonnie, and three children and their families, Kelly & Henry, Scott and Kurt.  He is a third generation farmer and wouldn’t drive anything but a John Deere.

“I chose farming because I like to be independent, be my own boss, and do my own thing,” says Ginder who has been farming since 1967.  But now, he has concerns about the agricultural field for future generations and wants to help direct the industry to the best possible footing to ensure careers for young farmers.

Glenn enjoys restoring old tractors in his free time.
