Donna Jeschke, District V

Donna Jeschke wears many hats: farm wife, mother, leader in her church, and Grandma.  She and her husband grow corn and soybeans in Grundy County, Illinois.

Donna’s family farmed in Germany prior to their immigration to the US and trek to Illinois where they finally settled in the 1840s.  She has been farming since 1975, after her graduation from the University of Illinois, but definitely grew up with a love of the land in her blood.

A leader in the industry and in the community, Donna has served on the Illinois Corn Marketing Board since 2002, helped to start the Ag in the Classroom program in Grundy County in 1986, and serves as Chairman of the Trustees for her UCC Church.  Farming and the agricultural industry are her passion, but she also loves being with her family and looks forward to their annual ski trip.

Donna and her husband have two grown sons and a much-loved daughter-in-law.
