Kayla Veeder started working as the Operations Manager for IL Corn in May 2013. Kayla manages the office operations for the Illinois Corn Marketing Board/Illinois Corn Growers Association, serving as office manager, administrator for computer systems, recording secretary for both boards, coordinator of two board committees, and serves as the Executive Aassistant to the Executive Director
Kayla was formerly a Seed Quality Supervisor for Monsanto. There, she maintained data quality of the entire DeKalb brand, in addition to Channel and Regional brands. She was responsible for pesticide applications, detasseling operations, and field data for 26,000 gross seed corn acres at the Farmer City, Illinois DeKalb production site.
Kayla was born and raised on a crop production, beef, and dairy operation. She graduated from Purdue University in May of 2010 and enjoys showing dairy cattle in her spare time.
