The Normal CornBelters will open the season with their first home game on Friday, May 27th, at the Corn Crib, presented by Illinois Corn Farmers. This is the second season for the professional baseball team, a member of the Frontier League.
Corn and family farmers will play an even more dominant role at the Corn Crib this year. Landscaping around the ballpark will feature different corn hybrids, as well as sweet corn, decorative corn, and pop corn, for educational purposes.
The images from the Corn Farmers Coalition efforts will also be featured this summer, bringing the positive messages about Illinois corn farmers to baseball fans.
