Phil Thornton, IL Corn’s Value Enhanced Projects Director, explains what happened at MF Global, and what it means to Illinois corn farmers. ICGA undertook a concentrated outreach effort to farmers and allied industry to gather information regarding the impact of MF Global’s collapse. That information was compiled and made available to Congressman Tim Johnson before he participated in the Congressional Hearing on this issue earlier this week.
