Illinois Corn Growers Association has been contacted by the official, court-appointed administrator of the settlement known as the “Corn Seed Settlement Program.” A $1.51 billion settlement has been reached with Syngenta over class-action and individual lawsuits related to the sale and marketing of its Agrisure Viptera and Duracade corn seeds and the alleged harm that Syngenta’s conduct caused corn producers, grain handling facilities, and ethanol plants. We’ve received some phone and email inquiries about this process and are providing you the official information here in case you’d like to participate in the settlement. We believe that the online registration process should take 10 minutes or less to complete and you do not need separate, individual legal counsel to file a claim on your behalf.

Please click here to read the court-approved informational flyer on this issue. The flyer provides:

  3. The settlement program’s toll-free call center line (1-833-567-CORN or 1-833-567-2676).
