All data is based on 2011 numbers, and is sourced from the National Agricultural statistics service, the Illinois Institute for Rural Affairs, IMPLAN.

  • $25 billion in output (value of goods and services)
  • Nearly 175,000 jobs
  • $6.4 billion in employment compensation/proprietor income
  • $10.9 billion in GDP
