Learn more about soil health and water management at this June 19 Risk Management Conference at the Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in Normal, IL.  The deadline for a hotel room, should you need one, is Monday, May 28 so don’t delay!

We’ll be bringing in farmers and their advisors, researchers, and supply chain partners to talk about soil health and water management from a risk management perspective through presentations, discussion panels, and interactive conversations about weather, production resiliency, economics, risk management, business drivers, and sustainability. Eric Snodgrass, Director of Undergraduate Studies for the Department of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, will be our master of ceremonies and weather. Dr. Jerry Hatfield, Director and Supervisory Plant Physiologist, National Laboratory for Agriculture and the Environment, USDA ARS, will be our keynote lunch speaker, followed by an afternoon bus tour of on-farm research projects sponsored by the Nutrient Research and Education Council.
