FARMERS RAISE FOOD NOW RAISE YOUR VOICES

Jul 25, 2011  |  Today's News

For too long we have given others the opportunity to answer questions about our industry. Armed with misinformation and little to no connection to today’s farms, a knowledge gap has formed between the American people and where food comes from.

Americans want to know more about their food. They want to know where their food comes from, how it was raised and if it is good for their health long-term. There is an opportunity to answer Americans’ questions about their food and the U.S. Farmers & Ranchers Alliance (USFRA) will lead the conversation.

USFRA is a coalition of many different farm and ranch organizations that is attempting to address consumer desire for more information about food production.  The National Corn Growers Association is a valued USFRA member, also holding a board seat in this important alliance.

USFRA’s new campaign is focused on raising the voices of farmers and ranchers across the country. We need you to act today.  We want you to help us lead the conversation about where food in America comes from and our commitment to continuous improvement.

You can share your opinions by signing up to be called to participate in this phone survey. The survey will take between five and 10 minutes via phone – and you can tell us your preferred time for the discussion. Simply fill out the following form on the USFRA web site to sign up:

As America’s farmers and ranchers, we’ve raised pretty much everything. Sign up for the survey by Friday, July 29th and begin leading the dialogue with Americans about where their food comes from and how it is produced:
