University of Illinois Extension serving the Livingston, McLean and Woodford Counties will be hosting a three-county Agronomy Day.

The 2013 Livingston, McLean and Woodford Counties Agronomy Day is scheduled for Monday, April 1, 2013 at the ASMARK Agricenter, 14171 Carole Drive, Bloomington IL 61705 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

8:45 – 9:00 Registration and Welcome
9:00 – 9:50 Dennis Bowman – Insect Resistance Issues for 2013
9:50 – 10:40 Aaron Hager – Herbicide Resistance and Weed Control
10:40 – 11:30 Dan Schafer – Keep it for the Crop 2025
11:30 – 12:30 Lunch
12:30 – 1:20 Kelly Allsup – Integrated Pest Management
1:20 – 2:10 Chuck Spencer – Legislative and Regulatory Update
2:10 – 3:00 Jim Angel – Weather Outlook for 2013

Certified Crop Advisor who attend can sign up for Continuing Education Units in these areas: Nutrient Management (1 CEU), Integrated Pest Management (3 CEU), Professional Development (1 CEU), and Soil and Water Management (1 CEU).

This program is free, high attendance is expected and you are strongly encouraged to pre-register by March 27 to ensure an accurate lunch count.
