It’s been rainy and wet and wet and rainy for a good string of days now, keeping many Illinois farmers out of the fields. There is a record harvest of corn out there waiting to be brought in. Elevators are already turning to ground storage and so are some farmers. Shippers are struggling to find access to rail cars in areas here and there. Maybe this harvest delay we’ve experienced this week...
