The Illinois Corn Marketing Board (ICMB) was proud to donate $90,000 to Illinois Ag in the Classroom projects during the Farm Progress Show 2017 in Decatur, IL.

Illinois Ag in the Classroom is a working partnership involving agriculture, agribusiness, and agricultural education to provide Illinois educators and students with resources that will help them understand the role of a vital agriculture in their lives and society.

Much of the monies provided by IL Corn will fund county Ag in the Classroom programs throughout the state.

“Our Illinois Corn Marketing Board of Directors all believe in the mission of Ag in the Classroom and are proud to be a part of the effort to educate Illinois youth about the importance of agriculture in our state and our world.  The Ag in the Classroom staff and volunteers are to be commended for their tremendous work throughout the state,” said Paul Jeschke, ICMB Chairman.
