MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR FARM FUTURES SUMMIT

Dec 07, 2011  |  Today's News

Tis the season for farm meetings. Here’s another meeting that might pique your interest as an Illinois corn farmer with a personal invitation to register from Farm Futures Executive Editor, Mike Wilson.

I wanted to send you a personal invitation to join us for the 2012 Farm Futures Business Management Summit.

This year we are bringing you one of the best speaker and topic lineups ever, focusing on global ag trends, risk management, succession and estate planning, peer advisory groups and alternative business arrangements. We’re also taking a new approach by offering participants three ‘tracks’ they can follow to dig deep in one specific topic if they wish. The three tracks include marketing, business and financial planning, and technology. Speakers include Dave Kohl, Dick Wittman, Danny Klinefelter and Darren Frye, with Max Armstrong moderating the Bearpit. Moe Russell will lead a hands-on workshop called, “Mapping the DNA of the successful farmer.” Terry Linn, of the Linn Group, will introduce the Farm Futures Market Center, an online trading platform that can enhance your marketing capabilities.

The summit will take place Jan. 5-6 at the Sheraton Westport in St. Louis. A student rate of $199 is also available. The hotel has a block of rooms for $99 per night.

You can see the full agenda and registration link by going to www.farmfutures.com/summit2012.

I hope you will join us. This promises to be the best summit ever!

Best wishes,
