Want to meet women who are making a difference in the agriculture industry? Come to the 5th annual Women Changing the Face of Agriculture Conference on March 6, 2015 at Illinois State University in Normal, IL hosted by the Illinois Agri-Women. The conference is a one day professional development seminar for female high school and collegiate students looking to invest in the future of agriculture.

At the event, students can explore different career paths in the agriculture industry while networking with more than 100 women around the country. Representatives from CNH, 1st Farm Credit Services, GROWMARK, Illinois Department of Agriculture and more will be presenting at the conference.

In the morning, participants network by rotating to different booths learning about diverse agriculture careers. Students will eat lunch and then go to various breakout sessions addressing agricultural, business and personal development topics.

Last year’s keynote speaker, Katie Pratt, encouraged and inspired students to reach their full potential.  Upon completing the conference, students will gain knowledge of internships, career advice and prepare themselves for a profession in agriculture.
