Memorial Day weekend kicks off summer and vacation season for most Americans.  Vacation season equals more miles in the car, more fuel use, and more ethanol in every tank.

But some Americans are still scared of ethanol in their fuel, based largely on misconceptions perpetuated by the media and the oil industry.  They want to protect their market share and who can blame them?

Get ready for summer by gearing up on your ethanol knowledge.  Be ready to refute the myths that your neighbors and non-farm friends might be believing about their fuel.  Encourage others to use 15 percent blends in their vehicles model year 2001 and newer.

(15% blends are becoming more and more available all over the state, with many stations carrying E15 in the Chicagoland area especially!)

Happy summer!
