The IL Corn Growers Association has two upcoming opportunities for members to gather, have fun, and support our advocacy efforts: an ALL NEW, in-person, Murder Mystery Dinner this November, later followed by the long-time-running, virtual Draw Down Raffle this winter.

MURDER MYSTERY DINNER: A Grain of Truth: Everyone has a story. Someone has a secret. 

Get ready for a dinner where nothing, and no one, is quite what it seems! 


On Monday, November 23, ICGA is hosting an interactive murder mystery experience featuring The Dinner Detective. Their professionally trained cast will bring a present-day mystery to life throughout the room, with the story unfolding in real time during dinner. Unlike a traditional stage show, the evening is designed to be highly social and interactive, so guests become part of the experience rather than simply watching from their seats. 


Upon check-in, guests will receive an alias name tag and begin mingling during the interrogation reception. From there, the mystery unfolds in several acts interspersed with dinner and dessert. By the end of the evening, guests will submit their answers and try to determine what really happened. 

No need for guests to prepare for anything ahead of time. The show is designed for interaction throughout the room, so come hungry, be social, and keep your wits about you… because you never know what events may unfold! 

 

Your meal includes: 

16oz ribeye steak, baked potato, salad, green beans, dinner roll, pie, and open bar* 
*purchase a wristband for top shelf drinks and the evening’s signature cocktail 

Entertainment with the chance to solve the case! 
Don’t forget your checkbook, just in case you need to pay off a dirty cop. 

 

Tickets are $75 per person or $125 per couple and payment is taken at the door via cash or personal check.

DRAW DOWN RAFFLE 

A draw down is a type of raffle during which all sold tickets are individually drawn at random during the event. A schedule of prizes, associated with the order in which the tickets are drawn will be published in advance of the drawing. The ticket numbers and associated ticket holders’ names will be published online, winners will be notified of their prize and delivery of said prize will be coordinated between ICGA and the winner. 

  

ICGA’s Rules of entry for the 2027 Draw Down: 

  1. Maximum of 250 tickets to be sold 
  2. Only ICGA members and unsolicited individuals may purchase a ticket 
  3. Multiple tickets may be purchased by a single individual. (Individuals ARE eligible to win multiple prizes, as each number drawn is associated with a different prize) 
  4. Only one winner per number drawn / ticket number 
  5. This is a virtual raffle. Participants need not be present to win 
  6. Drawdown ticket sales cease at NOON, Friday, February 5, or once all 250 tickets are sold out.
