What is PACE?

PACE is a program for corn farmers who want to be more strategic with how they apply nitrogen. It offers extra insurance if a farmer plans to apply nitrogen in two steps but can't finish the second step because of adverse weather. This allows farmers to try split-applying nitrogen to get better results, reduce runoff, and make the most of their money.

PACE is now available where non-irrigated corn is insurable in all counties of Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, and South Dakota. RMA will further expand eligibility over the next four years.

Mission: Through grassroots advocacy, create a future for Illinois farmers in which they can operate freely, responsibly, and successfully.
