Megan Dwyer is the Director of Conservation and Nutrient Stewardship for the Illinois Corn Growers Association, where she leads state and federal policy efforts focused on conservation, crop insurance, sustainability, biofuels, and regulatory issues impacting corn farmers. A Certified Crop Adviser (CCA), fourth-generation Illinois farmer, and Iowa State University graduate, Megan is committed to ensuring conservation and climate policy is both science-based and practical for farmers.

Megan has helped lead national efforts to ensure farmer perspectives are reflected in federal policy, including playing a key role in advancing farmer-focused provisions within the USDA Feedstock Carbon Intensity Calculator for the 45Z Clean Fuel Production Credit. She has also been instrumental in developing innovative approaches to conservation incentives and crop insurance, working alongside farmers, researchers, industry partners, and federal agencies to improve environmental outcomes while strengthening farm profitability and risk management.

She serves on the AGree Coalition Steering Committee and several national agriculture and conservation working groups. A frequent speaker on conservation, precision agriculture, and sustainability policy, Megan is passionate about bridging the gap between policy development and on-farm implementation.

Megan and her husband, Todd, farm in northwestern Illinois, where they are raising their four children and remain actively involved in production agriculture.
